As it’s Christmas (did you notice?) or at least the Holiday Season for those who celebrate something other than Christmas, I have mention of a couple of writing giveaways for you.
1. Easy Way to Write’s 12 Days of Xmas Freebies
Rob Parnell’s site, Easy Way to Write, is giving away writing freebies every day leading up to Christmas. It seems to have stopped at Day 3, but the Day 3 offering is a big one – Writing Mystery and Suspense – this is a full PDF course written by M Kenyon Charboneaux and Rob Parnell, and includes 154 pages of exercises and techniques for the new mystery writer. And it’s downloadable – for free!
2. The Freelance Writer’s Marketing Plan
This short PDF document, The Freelance Writer’s Marketing Plan was written by Melissa Brewer in 2002, and contains a brief workshop in recognising and marketing our freelance writing skills into a recognisable plan of action. It is available free as a giveaway from this blog by simply downloading from the Downloads page. Happy reading – and marketing!
