| Seen this? Write or Die! is a web-based application – the first from Dr Wicked’s Writing labs. It is based on his concept that we all, as writer’s are easily distracted by things like – oh, everything really, from writing.
With Write or Die!, you get tangible consequences with procrastination. Insert a wordcount, and time period, and start to write – in the online java applet. If you pause, within 20 seconds you will find your surrounding screen going red, then the not inconsequential noises begin. And once you’re finished you can copy your writing to the clipboard. Dr Wicked has a screencast and Youtube of the usage of Write or Die – but really, I’d suggest you just try it out. Have some writing fun with Write or Die! |
