NaNoWriMo -
National Novel Writing Month
50,000 words | 30 Days
Commenced – 1st November
Hit 50,000 target – 13th November.
Final wordcount – 104,292. |
I Won! And the verifier onsite even added an additional 1000 words which I must have miscounted.
11 Chapters, 34 Scenes, 104,000 words later, and I’ve won my first ever NaNoWriMo.
Oh, and I actually have written a novel that I really love, although the last few days have seen me with a cold, and the smallest final chapters in the universe. |

The premise behind the competition, and the amount of material it generates, leaves one knowing that exciting creations will keep coming, as opportunities continue to expand on past developments. Having numerous people writing at the same time, so that they feel the group effect which links back to ancient history, and setting it up as a competition, connects natural interests with the interest in writing that the participators had. The pace set by you in the process appears to be quite high.

Wow! Congratulations! And you’ve been blogging, too, during NaNoWriMo. Big, sweeping “I am not Worthy” kudos to you for doing both.

Congratulations! I didn’t even know that such a contest exists. Is there a chance you will share your novel with us?
